Phishing URL Checker

Enter a URL to analyze it for potential phishing indicators. Our algorithm checks multiple risk factors to determine the threat level.

⚠️ This tool provides educational risk analysis based on URL patterns. Results are for awareness purposes only and should not replace professional security verification.

Password Strength Analyzer

Test your password's strength and get theoretical crack-time estimations. Learn how to create stronger passwords.

Password Requirements

At least 8 characters
Uppercase letter (A-Z)
Lowercase letter (a-z)
Number (0-9)
Special character (!@#$%)
Not a common password

⚠️ Your password is analyzed locally and is never stored or transmitted.

Website Security Audit

Perform ethical security analysis on websites with passive scanning and optional authorized active tests.

🚨 ETHICAL HACKING NOTICE

This tool is for educational and authorized security testing only. Only scan websites you own or have explicit written permission to test. Unauthorized security testing may be illegal under computer fraud laws (e.g., CFAA in the US, Computer Misuse Act in the UK).

Cybersecurity Awareness

Essential knowledge to protect yourself from phishing attacks and online threats.

What is Phishing?

Phishing is a type of social engineering attack where cybercriminals attempt to deceive individuals into revealing sensitive information such as passwords, credit card numbers, or personal data. These attacks typically occur through fraudulent emails, websites, or messages that appear to be from legitimate sources.

Email Phishing

Mass emails sent to millions, impersonating trusted organizations to steal credentials or spread malware.

Spear Phishing

Targeted attacks using personal information to appear legitimate, often aimed at specific individuals or companies.

Smishing (SMS)

Phishing via text messages, often containing urgent requests and malicious links.

Vishing (Voice)

Phone-based phishing where attackers impersonate authority figures to extract sensitive information.

🛡️ How to Protect Yourself

01

Verify the Sender

Always check email addresses carefully. Phishers often use addresses that look similar to legitimate ones.

02

Hover Before You Click

Hover over links to see the actual URL before clicking. Look for misspellings or suspicious domains.

03

Enable Two-Factor Authentication

Add an extra layer of security to your accounts. Even if credentials are stolen, 2FA can prevent access.

04

Be Wary of Urgency

Phishing messages often create a sense of urgency. Take time to verify before acting on urgent requests.

05

Keep Software Updated

Regularly update your browser, OS, and security software to protect against known vulnerabilities.

⚠️ Red Flags to Watch For

Generic greetings
Spelling errors
Suspicious URLs
Requests for personal info
Threatening language
Too good to be true offers

🔒 HTTPS Does NOT Mean Safe

Many people believe that HTTPS (the padlock icon) guarantees a website is legitimate and trustworthy. This is a dangerous misconception.

What HTTPS Actually Means:

HTTPS only encrypts the connection between you and the website. It prevents eavesdropping but does NOT verify that the website owner is legitimate. Attackers can easily obtain SSL certificates for phishing sites.

Reality Check:

Over 80% of phishing sites now use HTTPS to appear trustworthy. Always verify the domain name carefully, check for typos, and never trust a site just because it has a padlock icon.
